DANNY"S 1ST BIRTHDAY

7/6/07

Danny had a lot of fun on his birthday. We had a little party over at Grandpa and Grandma Langford's (in Chicago). We could tell that he knew something special was happening. He couldn't stop smiling all day long. He didn't really like the cake - it was probably a little sweet.

We are so glad that he is in our family and love his spirit in our home.

FUN IN ORLANDO

While we were in Florida (see below) we spent a couple of days in Orlando.

We spent one day in Magic Kingdom and one day in Epcot Center.

We had so much fun, and Danny enjoyed having so much to look at.

TRIP TO FLORIDA

6/28/07 - 7/5/07

Anne's cousin's (Heather and Levi Haught) live down in Florida - so it was natural to go down and visit when we found really cheap plane tickets. We had so much fun experiencing the culture of Florida. Thanks for having us!!!

RUSH FAMILY VISIT

6/21/07 - 6/28/07

The Rush Family (Charlie's Family) flew out from Arizona to visit us for a week. We had so much fun. It is always good to be able to see family and have some one to visit with. We spent a couple of days down in Nauvoo and Carthage (our temple district) and then a couple in Davenport and one in Chicago. They were so excited to see Danny, but it took him while to warm up. Thank you guys for coming out - we love you so much.

Danny found his new favorite toy at Grandma Langford's - her swing out back! (9 months)

Well I've worked my way around the house and finally got to our bedroom. The other picture shows the walls up close. They are smoky blue with gold, copper, and dark blue fauxed on top. I love how it turned out - Needless to say my arm was tired after all the sponging.

While we were over in Chicago, IL for Christmas we decided to head downtown to check out the sites. You can't really tell but this is us in front of Rush Street. I'm sure it's named after us!!!

Our First House

We just got home from a week in Chicago so that the Langford Family could see the new baby. While we were there we drove to Davenport, Iowa to buy our first house. We were really excited that we won't have to live in a apartment while Charlie goes to chiropractic school. We are moving there at the end of September and will be there for about three and half years. We are excited to live where it snows and be closer to the Langfords.

We just had the cutest little boy come into our family. Daniel Eugene Rush was born on Thrusday, July 6, 2006 at 6:54 in the evening. He was healthier than the midwife expected becuase Anne was induced five weeks early. Besides a trip back to the hospital for jaundice everyone is doing well and is happy for the addition to the family. Jan flew in from Chicago and made it about six hours before he came and has offered a lot of help over the past week. Thanks to the family for all of the help and support.
